If there is one thing that has changed in Bollywood dramatically in the last few years, it’s their fascination with Pakistani talent. Be it Fawad Khan’s swift succession to the top of the Indian film industry, or now, the inclusion of some of the biggest divas of Pakistan across the border, the Bollywood seems more than fascinated with the Pakistani talent powerhouses! And, if that’s not all, latest news suggests that Atif Aslam has replaced Arijit Singh for a song in Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming ‘superhero’ flick A Flying Jatt.

According to Hindustan Times, in what turned out to be a fateful change for the Indian singer, a Pakistani talent once again replaced him –with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan being the last one with Jag Ghoomeya for Salman Khan’s Sultan. Aslam’s rendition of ‘Toota Jo Kabhi Tara’ was recently released for the audiences instead of the Indian singer’s version.
Interestingly, the song has been well received and Singh feels ‘no one is irreplaceable.’
“No one is irreplaceable, in any walk of life. Whether you are a singer or a doctor, there will always be others to take over your place. If I replaced a singer I wouldn’t be expected to consult whichever singer I was replacing,” the singer commented on his replacement.
The song, which is shot on Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez, has already been doing great rounds on social media, where the song is being commended for its heartfelt lyrics and an overall romantic presence. However, we can’t help but feel bad for Singh, who’s being replaced from one song after another (and that too by Pakistani singers) ever since his tiff with the Bhai of Bollywood, Salman Khan.
