Besharam…Episode 17,18 lyrics, OST title song mp3 download, cast, timing, drama review, written update (source: dramapakistani)
In terms of the story’s progress, there have not been any dramatic twists and turns introduced in these two episodes. The focus has been on Mishal and Haider’s relationship, how they are now functioning as a team; standing by eachother and helping eachother’s family at the same time. Saba and her family also got some screen time and we got to watch some sort of poetic justice, as Taya Abba and his family are facing one problem after another. The story is still going strong, although it’s not full of unexpected new developments but there is a lot of positivity and it’s still fun to watch.
Mishal’s mother visited her new home and family but we didn’t get to see it . We only heard about it from Mishal when she was apologizing to Khadija for her mother’s behavior. It’s so good to see Khadija and Mishal are in good terms now, they have accepted eachother and are trying to move forward. Khadija is not a typical saas, she is basically a very caring person, so naturally she couldn’t stay mad at Mishal forever.
I love the way Sarwat Nazeer has developed Mishal’s character. The way she handled her meeting with Qadeer was praiseworthy. She was sensible, to the point, completely honest and confident. She talked to Qadder about Hamna but as soon as he told her he has moved on, that was the end of it, she didn’t try to emotionally blackmail him. When talking about Saba, she was unapologetic, direct and straight to the point. This girl’s character has been carved beautifully.
Haider is a man on a mission , he is trying to help his mother in law so in a surprising move he convinced Manal ( or Mannan ) to come visit his mother, knowing she needs company and attention. Some how for me the actor playing Manal did not fit the role of a ” foreign return “, his beard, moustache, hair , even his travel bag did not fit the role. Having said that, it was a good move on Haider’s part.
Wahab Sunaira is still nursing his wounded ego. Initially he wanted to prove himself in Sofia and her mother’s eyes by bringing Mishal back but now, it’s personal :). He is trying to ruin Haider financially, he has already tricked his Taya abba in selling the family shop but I don’t think his animosity will end there. He is a very twisted, insecure man.
I was surprised at Qadeer’s interest in another girl, it was so sudden. He had been calling Hamna and now suddenly he wants to marry his boss’ daughter. Maybe Mishal and Haider are right, he is not good enough for Hamna. But his behavior becomes less surprising, if you keep his family in mind. They are all a bunch of cheaters, selfish, self righteous and arrogant people. Too busy poking their nose into other people’s business. I don’t know why the news of Saba’s conduct came as such a surprise to them. When there is a robbery at home it is mostly an inside job, so who else could have done it, if not Saba ? Saba is making the tranisition from silly to stupid at an alarming rate. Instead of feeling ashamed of her actions, she was more interested in finding out who told her brother about it ? Instead of taking responsibility, she was hell bent upon felling sorry for herself and as an attempt at getting back at her family, she decided to run away from home, real smart.
I do wonder however, if her family are doing the right thing by marrying her off in a hurry. Saba dosen’t want this marriage, initially her family had rejected this proposal too but now they are willing to settle for Farzand. If everything goes as planned, would this be the right decision in the long run ?
So now I am looking forward to the next episode to find out how will Manal’s arrival influence his mother and her behavior towards Haider. Also, Haider’s decision of joining Asfand Sultan’s party again is still something I am not so sure about. I am on the fence about this one point, so let’s wait and find out how things will turn out next week.
