Yes, you heard that right. Akon might be back in India for another song in Bollywood. This is really big, owing to the fact that the last time he gave Bollywood a song that climbed to the top of the list of party blockbusters. If you are not remembering, It’s the much acclaimed “Chamak Challo” from the RaOne movie that we are talking about here. He also sang the ‘Criminal’ Song in the same movie. Anubhav Sinha has shortlisted Akon from a list of big names which included Taio Cruze, Usher etcetera.
Anubhav Sinha has shortlisted Akon from a list of big names which included Taio Cruze, Usher etcetera. This decision is not really a mysterious one because it is no secret that Akon has already been here and his previous attempt created a party theme song which was loved by millions. Akon loves India and India love him too.
Dwayne Bravo is also singing a song for the movie
However, this is nothing new with the movie as earlier also another foreigner singer was roped up for the movie. Yes, we talking about the ‘Champion’ fame Cricketer and Singer Dwayne Bravo who had joined hands with Music Composer and Singer Ankit Tiwari. But that was not enough and now Akon is expected to sing a song in the movie either.
What are the plans of Tum Bin 2 Team with Akon ?
Now coming to the song, according to a source close to Sinha, the plan is to bring Akon on board along with the Pakistani singing sensation – Atif Aslam and recreate “Tumhare Siva Kuch Na” from “Tum Bin” and it would be used as the credit song towards the end of the movie. The video might be shot in a vintage property in India. Sounds like a plan, doesn’t it?
When Sinha was asked about his plans with Akon, he refused to give out any details as it was too early to get started on that because right now they were in “primitive stages of discussion.” This will be the second song to feature an international artist as the West Indies cricketer-cum-singer – Dwayne Bravo is already in a song with Ankit Tewari called “Jaegerbomb.”
Most of the movie has been shot in Scotland and is scheduled to be released on 18th November. Let us wait and see how it performs on the screens.
