  • The channel Zindagi, the first to air content from Pakistan, in India might ban all the Pakistani TV shows which are aired in India

  • An anti-Pakistan wave has started in India after the terror attack on September 18 that killed 18 Indian soldiers at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir.

Mumbai, 24 Sept 2016: The channel Zindagi, the first to air content from Pakistan, in India might ban all the Pakistani TV shows which are aired in India. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) gave a 48-hour ultimatum to all Pakistani film and TV artistes to leave India or face the consequences.

Subhash Chandra, Chairman at ZEE and Essel Group, tweeted on Saturday referring to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly, “Unfortunate stance of Mia Sharif at UN. Zee is considering stopping Zindagi programs from Pakistan, as well artists from there should leave.”

On Friday, the ultimatum was given by MNS and it was told to the media that “an anti-Pakistan” wave has started in India after the terror attack on September 18 that killed 18 Indian soldiers at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Release of any Bollywood films having Pakistani actors will not be permitted by the party, which includes upcoming movies like “Aye Dil Hai Muskhil” starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and “Raees” starring Pakistani actress Mahira Khan.
The channel Zindagi, launched in 2014 became popular among the Indian audiences with shows like “Zindagi Gulzar Hai”, “Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam”, “Sasural Ki Galli”, “Noor Bano”, “Main Bushra” and “Jab We Wed”.
