Ajay Devgn says 'Won't work with Pakistani actors' family, wedding pictures, age, height, weight, biography
The tension is not just prevailing at Indo-Pak border; even the Bollywood lanes are exuding some bitterness. As Pakistan continues to sponsor terrorism in India, Indian film industry is forced to withdraw their support and sponsorship to Pakistan actors and performers, some by force and some willingly. Ajay Devgn is one of the stars who have willingly taken the decision of not working with any Pakistan actors for the time being. He has said it loud and clear that it is difficult to work with actors from across the border “when there’s a constant exchange of bullets.”
He said this while being interviewed by a News Channel where he was asked about his opinion on Bollywood and Pakistani actors working together for film projects. There have also been rumours that Pakistani actress Saba Qamar might be a part of Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ which have turned out to be false as his official spokesperson answered in negative.
Ajay Devgn has himself taken a stand in favour of boycotting Pakistani artists. It is worth mentioning that relation between the two countries have turned sour after Pak sponsored terrorists attacked Army base camp at Uri and killed 19 soldiers. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, popularly known as MNS, had issued a threat post Uri attack addressing all Pakistani artists in Mumbai to leave the city immediately. The threat included a warning for Indian film industry that there could be grave consequences for those who continue to work with Pakistani actors. Leading Pakistani actors including Fawad Khan and Ali Zafar had left India immediately. And thus began the debate!
While some of the leading actors have sided with Pakistani actors saying that it is not their fault if their govt is sponsoring terrorism. Many have also talked of Bollywood and its producers suffering heavy losses if Pakistani stars leave the movies in between. In fact, even Salman Khan had said that Pakistani actors are not terrorists so why boycott them. But Ajay Devgn appears to be strong-footed on this issue as he said in the interview that there is no question of bilateral talks or peace dialogues in the given situation as Pak continues to fire bullets at our soldiers.
Ajay Devgn’s clear cut stand may result in many other Bollywood stars speaking out their mind on the boiling situation at Indo-Pak border that has engulfed even the world of art and entertainment.
