HIP Exclusive: Makers of Mann Mayal bring us Bekhudi lyrics, OST title song mp3 download, cast, timings, drama review, written update (source: hipinpakistan)
The current sequence is being shot at the famous Mann Mayal haveli.
The sun had set as we reached the old but magnificent structure which is present right where Karachi’s posh area meets the industrial hub. The gates to the haveli squeaked open giving way to a long walk way that led us to the upper portion where we finally came face to face with the cast and crew of Bekhudi. The director, Abis Raza, looked like he’d been up nights to visualize the script in his mind and was finally ready to translate it on celluloid, but his eyes sparked with the confidence he had in his team. The cast was having a good time, but knew when to put their serious faces on.
What exactly is Bekhudi?
It is a family drama based on a girl called Fiza – a role being essayed by Indian television actress, Sara Khan. The project is a collaboration between Next Level Entertainment – a production house owned by Samina Humayun Saeed, Tariq Shah, and Sana Shahnawaz – and Humayun Saeed and Shehzad Naseeb’s Six Sigma Plus.
HIP earlier revealed that the Indian actress will be spotted in Sana Shahnawaz’s second production after Mann Mayal and we recently visited the sets to find out more about the upcoming project.
While the cross border actress plays the female protagonist, Noor Hassan plays Saad – the male lead – in Seema Munaf’s script. We were actually quite curious to meet Khan and she never, for a moment, let us feel that she was not in her home country. She spoke fluent Urdu, was on friendly terms with the director, and had a positive and comfortable vibe about her.
“It seems as if it is very difficult for Indians to come to Pakistan and work, but for me it was as easy as ‘nothing’,” shared Khan. “When I came here I was nervous because it was the first time that I was working in some other industry but now Sana Shahnawaz, who approached me for this project, has become a very dear friend. We connected very easily and I’m very happy I got this project.”
The Indian actress explained how only our drama serials are different from Indian soaps and there isn’t much difference when it comes to people in general.
“The work environment in both the countries is quite different. Back there we work on fantasy based-projects whereas here we work on topics that everyone can connect with. I do not think there is any difference in India and Pakistan when it comes to people and environment. I’ve received a very warm welcome here. This industry is super fun.”

Sana Shahnawaz, who has previously produced projects like Mann Mayal, has used Mannu’s house yet again, but this time, they have given the old mansion a contemporary look
“The drama has a different feel from your regular serials. When you see it you’ll know it’s not about your usual Saas Bahu dilemma,” Sana Shahnawaz said while speaking with HIP. “The OST is sung by Noman and Rabi of Soch Band and it will air soon so watch out for it.”
From their song, Awari (from Indian film, Ek Villan) – which received much acclaim and was even nominated for the IIFA awards – to their recent songs for Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai, Soch has given some really good music in recent times and we’re excited what they’ll present us next.

Noor Hassan also agreed with Shahnawaz that Bekhudi is a welcome deviation from your usual scripts.
“As an actor I always aspire to work on different scripts and honestly, there is a scarcity when it comes to intriguing scripts. Rarely do we come across projects where we can indulge both our heart and soul,” the male protagonist lamented. “I’m lucky enough to get this project which is a love story. The entire team works in unity to make a project successful and I feel I’ve been very fortunate to attain that in Bekhudi.”
Apart from Sara Khan and Noor Hasan, Bekhudi’s cast includes Laila Zuberi (Sabira), Fazila Qazi (Rukhsana), Hajra (Faiza), Fahad Ahmad (Farooq), Faisal Naqvi (Junaid), Zainab Jameel (Nazia), Arsalan Faisal (Ashar), Shazia Faisal (Shazia), Bilal Abbas (Arsam), Rahma Saleem (Wania) and Komal Aziz (Mariyam).
