No mushkil for 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' as MNS allows screening lyrics, song mp3 download, family, wedding pictures, age, height, weight, biography
Mumbai: Mushkil for Karan Johar director of Ae DIl Hai Mushkil seems to have reduced after MNS leader Raj Thackrey met the chief minister of Maharshtra Devendra Fadnavis who arranged a closed door discussion between the political leader and the members of the movie producers’ guild.
After threatening to stall the release of Bollywood film Ae DIl Hai Mushkil that casts Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) chief Raj Thackrey gave a green signal to the producers to go forward with the screening of the movie during Diwali. But Thackrey’s go ahead signal came with conditions that the producers of the film have to pay Rs 5 crore to the Army Welfare Fund and pre-screen a tribute message to the martyred army personnel.
The film directed by Karan Johar also casts stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bacchan and is all set to release during Diwali.
Following the terrorist attack at URI army camp that killed 18 army personnel, which in turn forced the Indian armed forces to conduct a surgical strike on the terror launch pads in Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir, the relationship between India and Pakistan has deteriorated.
Amidst the growing tension, there has been demand for ban on Pakistani artists who are working in India mostly in Bollywood. As the call for ban grew more MNS announced that it would not let Ae DIl Hai Mushkil release as scheduled and the activists warned the multiplex owners to bear the brunt if they screen this film that casts a Pakistani actor.
However army seems to be unhappy with the way a small political outfit like MNS is playing politics and collecting ransom in the name of army.
