Corrie fans hit out at the soap for devoting a farewell episode to disgraced Marc Anwar – as he let rip with more outspoken tweets.

The Pakistani-born actor, fired for an anti-Indian rant on Twitter, left the ITV show in scenes shown on Friday.

His character Sharif Nazir was confronted by wife Yasmeen over an affair.

One fan tweeted: “Why has this racist pig taken up the whole episode?”

Another added: “It’s like the Sharif show.”

Marc, 60, did not address Sharif’s exit but did tweet about eight men convicted of child abuse in Rotherham.

He wrote: “Lock them up, castrate them and throw away the key.”

And apparently hinting the men should be abused, he added: “Maybe on the odd night give their cell mates a Viagra pill.”
