Do Pakistani dramas still excite Fawad Khan? lyrics, OST title song mp3 download, cast, timings, drama review, written update (source: hipinpakistan)
Looks like ever since India imposed a ban on Pakistani artists, Fawad Khan and Mahira khan seem to have plenty of time on their hands. The two have lately been seen in Lahore appearing as speakers at various events. While a few weeks back Mahira Khan voiced her opinions at the TEDx event about cyber bullying to a jam-packed hall, it was the Khoobsurat Fawad, who appeared as a keynote speaker at the Beaconhouse National University’s School Of Tomorrow event a few days ago amidst roaring applause.
In conversation with Sidrah Iqbal at the event, where Khan seemed a little reserved, it was perfect opportunity to ask Khan if doing a Pakistani drama still excites him or not? And while we all thought that the actor who won both sides of the border with his brilliant performance in Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai would still have a soft corner for doing more dramas in the future, it seems the actor is beyond them.
“As far as plays are concerned, I feel a lot of our work is thought by sitting in a room and coming up with an idea that would sell to the audiences. Seldom do we try to think of selling a new idea to the audiences. However, those who have been trying to do that, I will compliment them on that but when someone asks me if would I get back to drama, I always say that I have nothing against it, I mean why would I? It has given me respect and it is from where I started before I got into movies,” the actor told Iqbal.
On being asked why he moved away from dramas, Khan said,
“Because frankly speaking people wanted to repeat the same thing again and again, I felt things were not becoming different. Now if something comes to me let’s say which is perhaps along the lines of something like Fargo or maybe Stranger Things then I would love to do it”

While we still feel there are chances that we just might see Khan in a play soon which he feels has the potential to be different and interesting, we would have to wait and see what he finally chooses to do!
Dramas or no dramas, we are so glad to have him back in the country and we must say we are looking forward to watching him in Bilal Lashari’s Maula Jutt along with Hamza Ali Abbasi, apart from a biopic on the singer Alamgir, where Khan will be seen essaying the role of the legend.
