"I am a human being & I stand with Kashmir" says Hamza Ali Abbasi lyrics, OST title song mp3 download, cast, timings, drama review, written update (source: hipinpakistan)
No matter how many efforts Pakistan and India have made to attain peace, all hell breaks lose when the ‘Kashmir topic’ arises. “It’s ours”, is the main basis of the territorial conflict that has been going on since 1947 and both the countries have declined to reach a logical compromise. However, it was the recent death of a militant commander Burhan Wani, at the hands of the Indian security forces that caused the relationship between the two countries to go sour once again. The recent clash, resulted in the death of thousands of civilians, whereas many were left injured.
In a time like this, when most of the nation mourned the loss of lives, the hot topic remained the access to the Indian cinema. This may sound harsh but lets face it, most of us were more concerned about whether Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will be released in Pakistan and that’s just the dilemma of this country.
However. one can be glad that a voice of reason prevailed, and our actors decided to take a stand for what is right, with the ever-opnionated Hamza Ali Abbasi being the bastion once again. While he was in fact, the first celebrity to stand up in support of the Kashmiri people and condemn the killings, Abbasi’s recent video shows that he isn’t alone in speaking up for what’s right. Announcing their support with the Kashmiri people, the video features Humayun Saeed, Momina Mustehsan, Faisal Qureshi, Fahad Mustafa, Aisha Khan, Aiza Khan, Shehzad Roy, Farhad Humayun, Maya Ali, Gohar Rasheed, Umair Jaswal, Naveen Waqar, Emaad Irfani, Muniba Mazari and Sarwat Gillani.
The video shows Abbasi leading the video, talking about the plight of Kashmiris. In the heartfelt message, the actor said,
“On average 4/5 Kashmiris are killed every single day, not by terrorists or lack of governance or even by poverty, No, this genocide is being carried out by the organized Army of a democratic country. Kashmir issue in not an India –Pakistan issue it’s a human issue so please rise above the biases of your nationalities and religion, whether you are a Pakistani or an Indian stand with Kashmir because we Pakistani artistes stand with Kashmir”

Speaking on humanitarian grounds instead of just being nationalistic, the actor’s ‘I am a human being and I stand with Kashmir’ slogan resonates in the heart of anyone who believes that the Kashmiri’s deserve their right to speech.
An active PTI supporter, Abbasi first came in the public eye with the movie Main Hoon Shahid Afridi and then won everyone over with the drama Pyaray Afzal and the mega hit movie Jaawani Phir Nahi Aani. However, it’s his honest views on Charlie Hebdo , Burhan Wani , and his support for the people of Kashmir which has earned him a massive fan following.
While we sit here and take selfies, watch movies and rant on Facebook, our artists are uniting together to backing a meaningful cause. All we can say is that the attention to this issue may inspire many to follow in your footsteps, and teach them a thing or two!
