In conversation with Aashir Wajahat AKA Zeezo from Lahore Se Aagey lyrics, OST title song mp3 download, cast, timings, drama review, written update (source: hipinpakistan)
While much of our publicity, be it through any medium goes to those considered ‘protagonist’s, often those on the peripheries or support in the film turn out to be the breakout stars. Such is, once again the case in a Wajahat Rauf film. While in Karachi Se Lahore it was Moti (Yasir Hussain), who ended up being a fan favorite, it’s Aashir Wajahat AKA Zeezo, who has won numerous hearts this time around with Lahore Se Aagey. Making his debut with KSL, where he played Ayesha Omar’s younger brother, who’s too cool and smart for his age, the actor has truly proved big surprises come in small packages!
Talking about his career so far, the very talented Aashir has a head-to-head with HIP!
HIP: How was your experience working with your dad, Wajahat Rauf?
Aashir Wajahat: The experience was great as usual! It’s always fun working with him. Insert mischievous laugh
HIP: KSL or LSA, which part did you enjoy doing more?
AW: To be honest, I’ll have to say I enjoyed KSL more since I was a part of the entire movie. Whereas, in LSA, I only had one song. But I’ll also have to admit that making a singing debut on the big screen was extremely thrilling as well.
HIP: How is your dad professionally? Is he hard/strict to work with compared to the others?
AW: Not at all! He’s always joking around, so it’s really easy to work with him. laughs However, if it’s an outdoor shoot and we’re dependent on the lights and I’m taking too many takes! Yes, that’s when he gets strict.
HIP: Who has been your favorite costar and why?
AW: I think Yasir Bhai was and is my favorite costar, I did my first drama Kya Life Hai with him 4- 5 years back and from that time onwards I have this really close bond with him. We have our inside secret jokes which only we two can understand, so yea I enjoy working with him the most!
HIP: Since you’ve made your singing debut in LSA, where do you see yourself in the future? Actor or musician?
AW: I think both! Ali Zafar style!
HIP: We all know about your dad and his passion for music. Was he your inspiration?
AW: Yes, surely he is my inspiration! Everything I know, I know because of him. He’s my mentor, he’s taught me how to act and sing! Both my parents encourage and support me a lot and I owe all my success to these two beautiful gems.
Like father like son, Aashir sure takes after Wajahat when it comes to being versatile and super talented. We wish you all the best for your upcoming ventures.
