We have learnt that ‘Ek Villain’ director had listened to the song sometime back and loved it

(Web Desk) – Farhan Saeed has another feather in his cap as he paired with Shreya Ghoshal to redo ‘Thori Deir’ for Mohit Suri’s adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s Half Girlfriend.

Thori Deir was released in Pakistan two years ago and originally is a Punjabi song but for the film, Saeed recorded an Urdu duet version with Ghoshal.

We have learnt that Ek Villain director had listened to the song sometime back and loved it. Suri, who professes a music-savvy ear and has proved time and again that he does, approached the artist for the job.

Farhan Saeed who has several foot-tapping singles and a tribute to late Nusrat Fateh Ali KhanHalka Halka Suroor in his basket has surely planted a feather in his cap with this one.

Pakistani musicians have earned a good share of space in Indian entertainment industry with their quality music. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam are regular labels in Indian films while several other Pakistani names have sung for Bollywood including Ali Zafar, Sheraz Uppal and Ali Azmat.
