Ever since Rasm-e-Dunya began we have been watching it quite keenly mainly because the story penned down by Imran Nazir has a blend of love, heartbreak and mystery which keeps our interest alive in the plot. But with eleven episodes down, situations between the characters seems to be on a repetitive mode making us wonder when will we get to see something exciting.
Despite that, this drama is still our Thursday favourite because lets face it how many plays are currently on air which shows a story actually different from the rest like this one as it revolves around Haya (Armeena Khan) and Faris (Bilal Abbas) who are madly in love with each other but his mother , the sneaky Mussarat aka Tayi Jaan, wanting to take revenge from Haya’s father (Javed Sheikh). She successfully gets her married off to her step son Harib (Sami Khan) with Haya not knowing that he has a psychological disorder.

Haya becoming a victim of Harib’s mood swings, the girl is unable to hold her tears whenever he slightly raises his voice or asks a double meaning question. Whereas we were hoping that she would have gained some confidence by now to at least tell her parents.
On the other side we see Faris still hiding from his family. Interestingly, he meets another girl with the same name Haya (Erum Azam). Things do seem to be progressing between the two. He asks for some time from her before he chooses to get romantically involved because the hurdle between the two is the fact that Faris is still truly in love with the first Haya.
Haya (Armeena Khan) receives a call from a man who threats her about her ex-relationship with Faris before she got married. Beyond any doubt, she knows how Harib would react on this matter so she prefers to stay silent and simply ignore the caller hoping that he won’t contact her again.
Certainly, our highlight in watching Rasm-e-Dunya remains its cast which is brilliant . Starting from Armeena Khan, Sami Khan to Samina Peerzada every single actor brings their own charm to the drama and not to forget Roomi Insha’s artistic direction which makes it worth watching weekly.
We hope to see more scenes between Faris and the new Haya and get some insightful details about the relationship between Tayi Jaan and Haya’s father Tabraiz. So don’t forget to tune in on Thursday only on ARY Digital at 8 pm to see what life has in store for all the characters.
